Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Management)
The Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Management) teaches the foundation skills of counselling and communication as well as people management and leadership. It is the ideal stream of the B App Soc Sc if you are interested in working effectively with people as a team leader or organisation manager.
Completing this course will provide you with a firm understanding of the social and environmental contexts of the people and, organisational cultures you may work with in the future as well as the principles of managing people.
Career Outcome
As a graduate of this course you will be prepared to be a reflective people-orientated manager, well suited to work in an a range of private and public sector industries in areas such as: administration, project management or leadership, small business ownership, recruitment, operations management, workforce planning, organizational support work, career advice and human resources.

The first year of the Bachelor of Applied Social Science is common to all three areas of Specialization: Counseling, Management and Coaching. Students may apply to enter their chosen area of specialisation after completing the initial six modules.

Students who complete this course sequence will have a Management specialisation.
It is strongly recommended that you apply well in advance of the term in which you plan to commence studying. Enrolment must be completed two weeks prior to the start of each term. Late applications are only accepted if places are available.
Entry Requirements:
To be accepted into a course at an institution, you need to be able to prove that you have met the Entry Requirements the institution has in place for international students.
English language requirements:
· IELTS Test (Academic): Overall Score of minimum 6.5, no band less then 6;
· TOEFL ibt (Internet): Overall Score of minimum 92, no section score less then 20;

Undergraduate Entry Requirements:
Entry into a bachelor’s degree usually requires you to complete a secondary school equivalent to an Australian Year 12.
You must be over 21 years old to be able to apply for this course.
