This program provides students with a general course in business administration and is well suited to those seeking to attain professional expertise in the general management area. The program focuses on preparing managers for their challenging roles in a global environment, specifically preparing people for management roles in public or private sector organizations.

This course is suitable for students who would like to gain a tertiary qualification in specific areas of business administration. It gives an in-depth understanding of the complex web of business interactions that occur in the current global market.

This course offers students the chance to gain skills in both the private and public sectors. It offers comprehensive business training and enhances an understanding of how to increase business internationalization and Competitiveness.

 

Course Description

The Bachelor of Business Administration is a 24 unit program and includes six common core units to that for the Bachelor of Commerce. Students can fast track this degree by completing three semesters in a year and complete the program in two years.



Career Opportunities

Graduates are employed in accounting, banking, business management, consulting, financial management, international business, marketing and recruitment.

Graduates have a competitive advantage in finding employment. Many graduates are in senior management positions in Australia and internationally. The programs are designed wherever possible to conform to the entry requirements of the relevant professional bodies students may seek to join after graduation, such as CPA Australia, The Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA), the National Institute of Accountants (NIA) and the United Kingdom-based ACCA, the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Marketing Institute. Student membership is available for some professional associations.

Graduates may also be eligible for recognition by other professional bodies, both within Australia and internationally. Most of these have provision for student membership and students are advised to take advantage of such opportunities.

Bachelor of Business Administration provides credits towards related Postgraduate courses such as Master of International Business, Master of Business Administration (MBA), etc… with most of the Australian and worldwide Universities.



General Entry Requirements:

To be accepted into a course at an institution, you need to be able to prove that you have met the Entry Requirements the institution has in place for international students.

English language requirements:

    * IELTS Test (Academic): Overall Score of minimum 6.5, no band less then 6;
    * TOEFL ibt (Internet): Overall Score of minimum 92, with 18 Listening, 17 Reading, 22 Writing, 22 Speaking.;

Undergraduate Entry Requirements:

Entry into a Bachelor of Business Administration degree usually requires you to complete a secondary school equivalent to an Australian Year 12 and to have a sound knowledge of mathematics.
