Diploma of Computing
The Diploma of Computing is offered as an alternative pathway to undergraduate studies. The Diploma consists of university first year degree units and provides you with the foundation for further specific study in areas such as web designing, programming, games design and development, system analysis, database administration, networking, IT security and software development. You will specialise in your preferred area when you begin your second year studies at University.
Diploma of Computing provides the basis for further study in areas such as web designing, programming, games design and development, system analysis, database administration, networking, IT security and software development.
To be awared the Diploma of Computing you must complete and pass eight of the units listed in the table below. Completion of specific core units are required for entry into the relevant Deakin University bachelor degree.
